Out of my mind

I feel Like I've been out of sorts lately.
My heart is elsewhere.
I've lost my focus.
I'm losing the love for things I used to love
But I'm not gaining love to remain balanced.
I need adventure.
Not my Iceland adventure but rather a day to day adventure.
I need an adventure tomorrow.
To go to a foreign land but be back by bedtime.

These walls of mine are closing in
I might be trapped by midnight.
What if I don't see those stars again.
I need the stars
I need the moon

Take me to that place
I hear it's down by the river
Take me to the place where you fell and broke your finger when you were eight.
Lets float down the river to the place your grandfather used to live.
Baby, won't you take me there

My nine to five, yeah it's alright
But what happened to those days when we were young
Catching firefly's in jars
And staying awake until the sun came back up.

Let's go find that place
That we always dreamed of finding
The abandoned amusement park in the mountains
That hidden waterfall in the forest
And the best place to pick blackberry's.

Baby, take me away from here.
If only for a day.

Man, I am really itching for a beautiful day spent outside with no obligations and no responsibility.
A day like these...

One World, One Dream, Free Tibet

WOW! I am blown away by the courage some people have to fight for what they believe in. It's a powerful and very important thing. A co-worker of mine has been involved with some really intense and powerful "free Tibet" protests. She was arrested today after being involved with a banner drop on the golden gate bridge.

You can read about it here.

I am amazed at leslie's and everyone else's courage that was involved and I hope everyone is doing alright. (I'm sure they expected to get arrested and they are all very brilliant people)

The Sea Organ

I should be sleeping right now but I'm not tired and Simi told me today that I should have a blog so I'm going to try doing this a little more often.

Anyways I wanted to share this beautiful piece of music with you. The Sea Organ.

The Sea Organ is a pipe organ played by the sea. It's located in Zadar, Croatia. Built in 2005 the sea organ was made by putting tubing underneath the stairs that are located right on the sea and whistle openings on the sidewalk. Depending on how the waves hit the stairs it pushes air through the pipes and creates random harmonic sounds.

It's music made by nature!

You can hear it here.

Goodnight.
